Two Trees in Time
On this elevated position looking north over the Shropshire fields, there is a busy duel carriageway, a bustling town with an industrial chimney pointing towards the clouds, a farm and some houses nearby. It is all there, obscured by the trees, hidden in the dip, lost in the distant atmosphere of the midday sun. In this precise position, not affording a step to the left or right, I catch an unexpected view, where the modern things are hidden and the landscape could easily predate my lifetime.
